Rexton Bicore SR 40 RIC – Rechargeable Digital Hearing Aid (Pair)
Hey there! Let’s talk about the Rexton BiCore SR 40 RIC—a great pair of hearing aids from Rexton, a trusted name under WS Audiology, making waves in hearing tech since 1955. This Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) model sits behind your ear with a slim receiver in your canal, offering a comfy, low-profile vibe. Launched around April 2023, the BiCore SR 40 is a mid-tier option in Rexton’s BiCore lineup, built for mild to severe hearing loss (up to 100 dB). “SR” stands for Slim RIC, and this rechargeable pair brings features like Bluetooth streaming—perfect for anyone in Bangladesh looking for reliable, connected hearing in a stylish package.
Key Features Of Rexton Bicore SR 40 RIC
What’s this pair packing? The Rexton BiCore SR 40 RIC comes with 12 channels—not the premium 20 of the SR 80, but enough to shape sound nicely, like a decent audio tweak for your ears. It’s powered by Rexton’s BiCore technology, splitting speech and background noise into separate streams for clearer conversations, even in trickier settings. You’ve got Bluetooth streaming for iOS and Android, Speech Preservation Technology to highlight voices, and Multi-track processing to cut noise. It’s IP68-rated for water and dust resistance—ideal for Bangladesh’s humid days—and the rechargeable battery lasts up to 20 hours (or 17 with streaming). No telecoil here, but it’s a mid-tier RIC pair that’s practical and modern.
Why Choose Rexton BiCore SR 40 RIC (Pair)?
Why go with this pair? It’s a smart balance of performance and price. I love how the slim RIC design keeps it subtle behind your ear while delivering strong sound—great for mild to severe loss without feeling bulky. Compared to the BiCore 20 (8 channels), it’s got more sound control, and versus the SR 60 (16 channels), it’s a bit simpler but more budget-friendly. The rechargeable battery skips the hassle of swapping cells—just charge it up—and Bluetooth adds a handy wireless touch. That IP68 rating handles Bangladesh’s rainy or dusty days like a pro. If you want solid hearing with some modern flair at a mid-tier cost, this pair’s a winner.
Performance in Different Environments
Picture yourself at home, catching every word of a family tale—the BiCore SR 40 RIC shines in quiet spots with its 12 channels. Now, imagine a bustling tea stall or market in Bangladesh; its Multi-track Technology helps focus on speech, though it’s not as sharp as the SR 80 in super-noisy chaos. It’s best for one-on-one chats or smaller groups, adapting smoothly with BiCore’s dual processing. Bluetooth streaming? You’re covered—calls and music flow right to both ears, clear and easy, though not the top-tier quality of pricier models. Rain or dust? That IP68 rating keeps it ticking. It’s a dependable mid-tier pick for daily life here.

Benefits for Bangladeshi Users
This pair’s got some real advantages for Bangladesh. The rechargeable battery is a cinch—no hunting for spares during outages; just charge overnight for 20 hours of use (or 17 with streaming). That IP68 rating stands up to monsoons and dusty roads, while the slim RIC fit keeps it comfy and discreet in social settings. Bluetooth streaming lets you take calls or enjoy tunes from your phone, hands-free, adding a modern edge to mild-to-severe loss support. It’s a step below the SR 60 in features but still delivers with 12 channels and noise handling. For a practical, connected hearing boost, it’s a great match for life here.
Maintenance and Care
Keeping these in top form is simple. Wipe them daily with a soft cloth—Bangladesh’s humidity can leave sweat or dust behind. Charge them overnight with the included Charging Station SR (or optional Charging+ Station SR); a 30-minute fast charge gives 5 hours. Don’t leave them in direct sun or soak them beyond IP68 limits. Every 6 months, swing by a Shono Bangladesh clinic for a pro clean or wax check—those canals can get sneaky. Treat them right, and this RIC pair will keep delivering solid sound for years, no fuss.
Conclusion
The Rexton BiCore SR 40 RIC pair is like a reliable, stylish companion for mild to severe hearing loss—slim, rechargeable, and built for Bangladesh’s daily grind. It’s not the premium SR 80, but it offers clear sound, wireless streaming, and a tough design at a mid-tier price. Whether you’re chatting at home or streaming on the go, this pair keeps up without breaking a sweat. For a practical, modern hearing solution that fits your life, these are a fantastic pick—great hearing with zero hassle.
