Rexton Bicore SR 80 RIC (Pair) – Rechargeable High-Power Hearing Aid
Hey there! Let’s dive into the Rexton Bicore SR 80 RIC—a top-notch hearing aid from Rexton, a brand under WS Audiology, known for durable, practical tech since 1955. This Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) model sits behind your ear with a slim receiver in your canal, blending comfort and discretion. Launched around April 2023, the BiCore SR 80 is the premium performance level in Rexton’s BiCore lineup, built for mild to severe hearing loss (up to 100 dB). The “SR” stands for Slim RIC, and this rechargeable pair packs advanced features like Bluetooth streaming—perfect for anyone in Bangladesh wanting clear, connected hearing in a sleek package.
Key Features Of Rexton Bicore SR 80 RIC
What’s this pair bringing to the table? The Rexton Bicore SR 80 RIC offers 20 channels—way more than entry-level models like the BiCore 20—for precise sound tuning, like a high-end audio mixer for your ears. It runs on Rexton’s BiCore technology, splitting speech and background noise into separate tracks for crystal-clear conversations, even in chaos. You’ve got Bluetooth for streaming from iOS and Android, Speech Preservation Technology to boost voices, and Multi-track processing to cut noise. It’s IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, and the rechargeable battery lasts up to 20 hours (or 17 with streaming). No telecoil or Auracast yet, but it’s a premium RIC pair that’s tough and smart.
Why Choose Rexton Bicore SR 80 RIC (Pair)?
Why go for this duo? It’s all about top-tier sound in a slim, stylish design. I love how the RIC setup keeps it lightweight behind your ear while pushing strong audio through the canal—great for mild to severe loss without bulky BTE vibes. Compared to the BiCore 60 (16 channels), it’s got more sound control, and versus the Reach 80 (newer Multi-Voice Focus), it’s a sleeker, proven option. The rechargeable battery skips the hassle of swapping cells, and Bluetooth adds modern flair. For Bangladesh’s humid, dusty days, that IP68 rating is a lifesaver. If you want premium hearing with wireless perks, this pair’s a standout.
Performance in Different Environments
Picture this: you’re at home, catching every detail of a family story—the Rexton Bicore SR 80 RIC delivers sharp sound with its 20 channels in quiet settings. Now, imagine a noisy tea stall or crowded haat in Bangladesh; its Multi-track Technology zeroes in on speech, though it’s not as dynamic as the Reach 80 in multi-speaker chaos. It’s ace for one-on-one chats or small groups, adapting fast with BiCore’s dual processing. Bluetooth streaming? Calls and music flow smoothly to both ears—hands-free and clear, if not quite top-tier quality. Rain or dust? That IP68 rating keeps it humming. It’s a premium performer for everyday life here.

Benefits for Bangladeshi Users
This pair’s got some serious wins for Bangladesh. The rechargeable battery means no hunting for spares during outages—just charge overnight for 20 hours of use (or 17 with streaming). That IP68 rating tackles monsoons and dusty streets, while the slim RIC design keeps it comfy and subtle in social settings. Bluetooth streaming lets you take calls or enjoy tunes from your phone, hands-free, adding a modern edge to mild-to-severe loss support. It’s pricier than the BiCore 40, but the 20 channels and noise handling make it worth it. For a connected, durable hearing boost, it’s a practical fit for life here.
Maintenance and Care
Keeping these in top shape is a breeze. Wipe them daily with a soft cloth—Bangladesh’s humidity can leave sweat or dust behind. Charge them overnight with the included Charging Station SR (or optional Charging+ Station SR); a 30-minute boost gives 5 hours. Don’t leave them in direct sun or soak them beyond IP68 limits. Every 6 months, visit a Shono Bangladesh clinic for a pro clean or wax check—those canals can get sneaky. Treat them right, and this RIC pair will keep delivering premium sound for years, no worries.
Conclusion
The Rexton Bicore SR 80 RIC pair is like a trusty, high-tech duo for mild to severe hearing loss—slim, rechargeable, and built for Bangladesh’s daily hustle. It’s not the newest like the Reach 80, but it shines with clear sound, wireless streaming, and a rugged design. Whether you’re chatting in a quiet room or streaming on the go, this pair keeps up without missing a beat. For a premium, practical hearing solution that blends into your life, these are a fantastic choice—top-notch hearing with zero fuss.
