Rexton Bicore SR 20 RIC (Pair)

Premium Rechargeable Digital Hearing Aid

Hey there! Let’s get into the Rexton Bicore SR 20 RIC (Pair)—a solid hearing aid set from Rexton, a brand under WS Audiology (think Signia and Widex) with a legacy since 1955. Launched around October 2022, this Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) model sits neatly behind your ears, with tiny receivers tucked into your canals via thin wires. It’s designed for mild to severe hearing loss (up to 100 dB) and uses a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery—no disposable batteries here. With 16 processing channels, Speech Preservation Technology, and direct Bluetooth streaming, it’s a great entry-level choice for anyone in Bangladesh looking for clear sound and modern connectivity without a hefty price tag.

Key Features Of Rexton Bicore SR 20 RIC

What’s this pair bringing to the table? The Rexton Bicore SR 20 RIC runs on Rexton’s BiCore platform, using 16 channels to shape sound precisely to your hearing needs. It’s got Speech Preservation Technology to keep voices crystal clear while letting you catch background sounds like doorbells or music, plus Noise Tracker II for decent noise reduction. The standout feature? Direct Bluetooth streaming from iOS and Android devices—no extra accessories needed, a step up from older models like Starkey Muse iQ. The rechargeable battery lasts up to 28 hours without streaming or 24 hours with 5 hours of streaming, and a 30-minute fast charge gives you 6 hours of use. With an IP68 rating for dust and moisture resistance, a T-coil option, and the Rexton App for tweaks, it’s a practical, connected pair for daily life.

Why Choose Rexton Bicore SR 20 RIC (Pair)?

Why go for this pair? It’s the entry-level RIC in the BiCore lineup—perfect if you’ve got mild to severe loss and want reliable tech without splashing out on higher tiers like BiCore 60 or 80. I love its sleek RIC design—smaller and lighter than older Rexton RICs, with Lifeproof™ microphones built to last. Compared to the BiCore 40 (20 channels), it’s a bit simpler but still packs a punch with 16 channels and Bluetooth, outshining older M-Core SR 20 models with lower latency and longer battery life. Its IP68 rating tackles Bangladesh’s humid, dusty days, and it shares a stylish vibe with Signia’s Styletto AX. If you’re after clear sound and wireless perks on a budget, this pair beats pricier options like ReSound Nexia 7 for value.

Performance in Different Environments

Imagine a quiet home chat—the Rexton Bicore SR 20 RIC delivers clean sound with its 16 channels and Speech Preservation Technology making voices pop. Now, picture a noisy Dhaka café; its binaural link syncs both aids for better speech focus, and Noise Tracker II tames background noise—Rexton says it’s great for moderate settings, though it’s not as sharp as the BiCore 80 in wild crowds. It’s solid for one-on-one talks, small groups, or moderate bustle, and Bluetooth streams calls or TV audio directly with good clarity. Add a Smart Transmitter 2.4 for TV or a Smart Mic for loud spots, and it performs even better. IP68 keeps it safe from sweat and dust, making it a trusty pick for Bangladesh’s humid, active days—just don’t expect it to ace super-loud chaos.

Benefits for Bangladeshi Users

This pair’s got some sweet perks for Bangladesh. The rechargeable battery lasts 28 hours (24 with streaming)—charge it in 3 hours overnight, and you’re good, even with power cuts. Its RIC design is discreet and comfy for all-day wear, and IP68 handles sweat and dust in humid weather like a champ. For mild to severe loss, it delivers clear speech and decent noise control with 16 channels—perfect for daily chats or moderate noise. Direct Bluetooth streaming adds a modern twist for calls, music, or TV, and the Rexton App makes tweaks a breeze. It’s a durable, practical fit for the local hustle—great sound without the premium price.

Maintenance and Care

Keeping these in top shape is easy. Wipe them daily with a soft, dry cloth—Bangladesh’s humidity and dust don’t bother their IP68 build. Charge them for 3 hours to get 28 hours of use (or 30 minutes for 6 hours) with the standard or Travel Charger 2—keep the charger dry and cool. Every 6 months, swing by Shono Bangladesh for a pro clean or wax check—RIC receivers can trap buildup. Store them in their case when off, and they’ll keep going strong for years (rechargeable battery lasts about 5 years). It’s low-maintenance tech for steady, clear hearing—simple and reliable.

Conclusion

The Rexton Bicore SR 20 RIC pair is a dependable, entry-level companion for mild to severe hearing loss—sleek, tough, and ready for Bangladesh’s daily grind. It’s a highlight of the 2022 BiCore lineup, offering clear sound with 16 channels, direct Bluetooth streaming, and a rechargeable RIC design. From quiet chats to moderate noise or streaming, it keeps you connected with zero hassle. For a modern, affordable hearing solution that fits your life and budget, this pair’s a keeper—solid sound with a practical, connected edge.
